The USG Horizon operates with five main departments, each with specific responsibilities and roles. Choose the department that best fits your character and playstyle. Each department offers unique opportunities for roleplay and character development aboard this massive surface-breaking vessel.
CAPTAIN BRANCH
COMMAND DEPARTMENT
The Captain and command staff oversee all operations aboard the USG Horizon, making critical decisions that affect the entire crew and mission success.
CAPTAIN
Ultimate authority aboard the ship, responsible for mission success, crew safety, and overall command decisions.
FIRST OFFICER
Second-in-command, assists the Captain in decision-making and oversees daily operations and crew coordination.
SECOND OFFICER
Third-in-command, supports the First Officer and manages specific operational areas of the ship.
LIEUTENANT
Junior officer responsible for specific ship systems, navigation, and communication with other departments.
MEDICAL BRANCH
MEDICAL DEPARTMENT
Medical and research department are tasked with treating crew members aboard the USG Horizon and conduct research in the ship's laboratories.
DIRECTOR OF THE MEDICAL CENTRE
Leads the medical department, oversees all medical operations, and coordinates with other departments for crew health and safety.
HEAD OF MEDICAL AND SCIENCE RESEARCH
Oversees research operations, coordinates with medical staff, and manages scientific investigations aboard the ship.
DOCTORS AND MEDICAL STAFF
Provides medical care, conducts examinations, maintains equipment, and assists with research operations.
ENGINEERING BRANCH
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
Engineering department makes sure the USG Horizon is in working order 24/7, their job is to repair and manage the ship.
DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING
Oversees all engineering operations, manages power systems, and coordinates maintenance schedules across the ship.
DEPUTY HEAD OF ENGINEERING
Assists the Director, manages specific engineering areas, and coordinates with reactor maintenance teams.
HEAD OF REACTOR MAINTENANCE
Specializes in reactor operations, manages power generation, and ensures reactor safety protocols.
DEPUTY HEAD OF REACTOR MAINTENANCE
Assists the Head of Reactor Maintenance, performs reactor diagnostics, and manages reactor operations.
REACTOR ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR
Supervises reactor maintenance teams, coordinates reactor operations, and ensures compliance with safety protocols.
ENGINEERS AND TECHNICIANS
Performs routine maintenance, basic repairs, system diagnostics, and assists with engineering operations.
SECURITY BRANCH
SECURITY DEPARTMENT
Security department has the role of upholding law and order aboard the USG Horizon including tasks such as handling dangerous encounters, handling disturbances and confronting traitors.
CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER
Commands security operations, develops security protocols, and coordinates with other departments for ship safety.
DEPUTY HEAD OF SECURITY
Assists the Chief Security Officer, manages security teams, and coordinates security operations across the ship.
SECURITY OFFICERS AND STAFF
Patrols the ship, responds to incidents, enforces regulations, and provides security coverage throughout the vessel.
ASSISTANT BRANCH
ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT
Assistants are not held to one department, they are there to support all departments in their tasks and have a chance to experience all jobs held aboard the USG Horizon.
ASSISTANT
Provides general support across all departments, learns ship operations, and assists with various tasks throughout the vessel.
